Why

Why is it Important to Stand up For Inequality?

It is important for everyone in this world to be equal. No matter the race, gender, age, or etc. People should have the same equal rights and liberties. Beyoncé believes black women have been mistreated and deserve equality. She is absolutely correct and black women deserve more respect. Beyoncé should be applauded for her strength to fight for beliefs.

People have the right to speak for what they believe in and they should fight for equality if necessary. There is a lot of inequality throughout the world and people should stand up and to try to get rid of some of it.

In the article,” How Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ Exposes Inner Lives of Black Women” it says that,” Lemonade, a meditation on the process of becoming a black woman in a society in which black women matter the least, are “the mule of the world” (Robinson). The quote describes black women as being the least most important in society. No one should be looked at as the least most important in society. Races or genders should not be so diversely separated or mistreated. Everyone should be treated equal and Beyoncé wants to encourage others to stand with her and fight for equality.

In this picture Beyoncé is embracing the roots of African American women and standing up for them.

In the article, “RACE, GENDER, AND GENERATIONS” it states that, ” The logic is that black women have to stand alone rather than in relation to black men and children” (Patton 5). This quote explains that black women must stand up for themselves and stand up solely for equality for black women.
